This taco shop is something special. The quesabirria tacos are insane--crispy tortillas, melt-in-your-mouth birria, and consommé so good I could drink it straight. I thought I'd had the best in Denver, but these easily take the crown. And the churros? Unreal. They're fried fresh, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, with just the right hit of cinnamon sugar. We live in the city, but it's totally worth the drive. Great food, cozy vibes, and super friendly staff--this place is a must.

Quesabirria tacos are excellent, I would gladly have them any time I am in the area. Service is friendly, polite and fast. The dining area is very clean, but it has limited seating so be there before the rush if you want to eat at the restaurant.

BEST TORTA AND BIRRIA TACOS, The consomé was so good! The rice and beans were so good too, they had so much flavor, reminded me of home! I haven't tried the tacos yet but for sure I will be coming back and trying everything else on the menu! Loved the customer service, everyone was so nice! The ambiance was also nice, we got to listen to Karol g to end our night!

3.5 but rounding up to 4. A friend picked Chicago Style Taco Shop to check out for a weekday dinner and we enjoyed our time here. This small taco shop offers authentic mexican tacos and is known for their dorado tacos (similar to birria tacos). This is a casual spot that can seat up to 30ish people. Service was quick - I ordered via the front counter with a staff member and within 10 mins my food was ready to be devoured. They do have a CC fee (I think it's about 4%), that's pretty standard for most places. If you have time - I recommend bringing cash to avoid this fee. If dining in there is a salsa bar that which was a nice touch. I decided to try 3 tacos - a quesabirria with barbacoa, a chicken taco and an al pastor (pork) taco. All their tacos come with corn tortillas and served with cilantro and onion. My favorite was the quesabirria. In order to get the consome you must order the 3 of em, since I ordered 1 I didn't get the consome. My friend DID order 3 quesabirrias so thankfully I was able to try it. The consome was VERY good and hot (temperature).

I read a review that said the dorado was bland. I ordered 2 with the broth. The meal that comes with 3 would have been too much. When I first bit into it I thought hmm... Maybe it IS bland?! But wait.. So by the time I finished, I felt it was just right. The issue with too much salt is when you are done and your mouth is dry. I left feeling just fine. My son got the large horchata and the flavor was good, he said it was perfect, I thought it was a touch too sweet. I didn't see any salsa but my son doesn't use it on his tacos. I'm sure there is some. Somewhere. The people working there are nice as can be. Really. Got 1 plain and 1 strawberry churro to take home. They were also excellent.
